Bio: Amanda is 15 years old and is a sophmore at Wharton High School. She participates in school plays and is active in the Spanish Club, Anchor Club, and the Wharton High School Tiger Stars Drill Team which she serves as Social Officer.
Hobbies: Amanda enjoys swimming, dancing, photography, reading, designing, writing, and spending time with friends and family.
Goals for the future: Amanda plans to attend Norte Dame University and dreams of becoming a journalist.

The Fiesta Queen is given many duties during her year long reign. The Queen may visit nursing homes and elementary schools to promote Hispanic goodwill.
The Fiesta Queen makes appearances at all Fiesta fundrasiers. The Queen and her court travel to all the neighboring festivals and ride on the Fiesta Hispano Americana float to promote the organization. These festivals include but not limited to:
