The Fiesta Hispano Americana is now accepting pageant contestants !!!

Little Miss and Little Mr. contestants must be ages 5-9 yrs old.

Jr. Miss contestants must be ages 10-13yrs old.

Fiesta Queen contestants must be 14 - 18yrs old.

The Fiesta Hispano Americana will sponsor a food booth @ this years Wharton County Youth Fair. We will serve Menudo, Beef & Chicken Fajitas, Tacos, Rice, Beans, Spanish Dinner plates, Sasuage on a Stick, Roasted Corn, etc. Come out and see us and your support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for visiting the Fiesta Hispano Americana website. Fiesta Hispano Americana is a 501 4(c) non-profit organization founded in September 1982 in Wharton Texas.

The motto of the organization is: "We take pride in our Culture" We support and endorse EDUCATION for all: and live with hope in our hearts for the continued accomplishments and success in all endeavors of the future generations of Hispanics.

Our dedicated volunteers of our organization bring together all the people in the surrounding communities, to promote & celebrate our Hispanic Heritage & Culture. Fiesta Hispano Americana holds a free annual community event which includes a local parade, Queen Pageant, Little Miss and Little Mr. Pageant, folklorico groups, mariachi groups, kid's activities, arts and crafts, and a myriad of food booths selling all types of food, desserts, and refreshments.

Education is Power !!!

Fiesta Hispano Americana provides Scholarships to qualified students of Hispanic descent. Fiesta Hispano Americana's academic scholarships are currently for two years to Wharton County Junior College and are valued at $ 1,000.00 each. The organziation awards ten (10) scholarships each year to qualified seniors. Recipients include young adults from Wharton, Bay City, El Campo, Van Vleck, Louise, Ganado, East Bernard, Needville, Lamar Cons., Foster, B.F. Terry, Brazos, Rice Cons., & Boling .

Funds for our academic scholarships are primarily raised through the sale of raffle tickets by the various contestants and our volunteers. It is through the generosity and support from our community businesses and individual contributors which have sustained our existence and ability to continue promoting education.
